The shirt that started it all: Bob Veillette 5K Road Race, September 13, 2009
Note: Whenever possible, I'll include the human-interest stories behind these shirts in their original form, or links to sites that tell those stories more compellingly than I could.
Bob Villette's story -- how after 40 years as a newspaper reporter/editor and marathon runner, he had a stroke after playing a free concert in a local library and ended up with locked-in syndrome -- can be found here.
Details about the 5K road race, which will be run for the sixth time this year on Sept. 11, are here.
